Open Position: Test Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities
- Works with design engineering and manufacturing to develop test requirements for new and existing MEMS components and subsystems
- Identifies, develops and implements testing measures and applications that improves process development, fabrication and process improvement of micro device components and processes including microfluidic testing
- Develops test methodologies that comply with quality specifications while meeting performance, budget and schedule requirements
- Performs bench-top testing and yield optimization including simulation, analysis, prototyping and validation testing
- Prepares test plans and executes software tests
- Identifies and integrates hardware and software required for device and system level testing
- Works as a member of a project team to design, develop, and execute test plans and test procedures
- Creates test documentation necessary to meet the requirements of ISO-9001 and ISO13485
Experience
- 2 years engineering experience in fluidics and/or mechanical testing of small parts
- Micro-device test design, development and implementation
- Micro-electronic medicaldevice and process V&V testing experience preferred
Education: MS in Bio Med or ME is required
Special Training/Certifications
- Application software such as Matlab, Labview, etc.
- Experience working in a class 10,000 and above cleanroom environment
